Connecting with the Youth
Was told that Five Times August was scheduled to be here. Just me again. Played my first song and a group of five college aged men came out on the balcony across from where I was playing. After a couple songs they went inside. When I finished playing they came out to let me know they enjoyed the Funky Fathers set. Apparently, they made as house mix of one of my tunes. One was from San Diego and he recounted the story of police lined up facing the ocean, arresting and citing people as they came out of the water for violating the COVID protocol. They don't want this BS to ever happen again.
